The Master of Education (MEd) Educational Studies is designed for graduates and education professionals who want to deepen their understanding of education, enhance their professional practice and develop as leaders in the field. The course explores contemporary educational theory, research and policy while encouraging you to reflect critically on your own professional experience. Through an international and intercultural perspective, you’ll explore how education can respond to the changing needs of learners, communities and society. Throughout the course, you’ll: Develop a critical understanding of educational theory, research and professional practice. Explore inclusion and diversity, education innovation and technology, and policy and social justice. Build research, leadership and critical thinking skills to support professional practice. This course is designed to support educators and professionals working across schools, colleges, universities, training organisations and wider educational settings. The knowledge and skills developed throughout the programme may be relevant to roles in: Professional learning and development, Educational leadership, Teaching and learning, Research and evaluation, Learning support, Curriculum development, Education policy, Educational consultancy.
International student can work up to 20 hours per week and full time during official school breaks and vacations. Graduates can apply for 18 months Graduate visa to live, study, and work.

UWS London accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, evidence of English study within a 12 year education system where English is designated as the primary and official language and the principal language of instruction. For applicants who do not yet meet the English language requirement, there are two pathways to achieve the necessary level:
Recognized English Proficiency Tests; Students may submit one of the following minimum scores of IELTS: 6.5 overall band score and or PTE Academic: Score of 60.
