The BSc in Middle Level (4 to 8) in English, Language Arts, and Reading equips students with the specialized pedagogical, literacy, and instructional strategies required to educate adolescents effectively. This comprehensive degree program integrates essential adolescent development theories and educational psychology with targeted coursework in adolescent literature, advanced composition, reading comprehension diagnostics, and language arts curriculum design. Graduates with a middle level education degree enter a versatile career path, stepping into roles such as middle school language arts teacher, reading specialist, junior high English instructor, curriculum coordinator, adolescent literature specialist, academic interventionist, instructional coach across middle schools and educational institutions.
F-1 International Student can work up to 20 hours per week and full time during official school breaks and vacations. Post completion Optional Practical Training allows graduates to work for 12 months and STEM graduate are eligible for up to 24 month extension.
