The
MSc in Nature Conservation Engineering at the University of Sopron equips
students with the skills and knowledge needed to plan, organize, and manage
nature conservation tasks at an international level. Graduates will apply their
theoretical expertise to safeguard natural ecosystems while balancing
conservation principles and regulations with practical implementation. This
program also prepares students for further academic pursuits, such as PhD
studies. The primary objective of this
program is to develop nature conservation engineers who can: Design and execute
strategies for nature conservation. Address global environmental challenges
using advanced engineering solutions. Integrate ecological, legal, and
management principles into sustainable environmental practices. Pursue doctoral
studies or lead international conservation projects. Graduates of this program will: Master advanced
theoretical and practical knowledge in nature conservation engineering. Gain
skills in environmental monitoring, biological surveys, and ecological
modeling. Develop management expertise for leading projects and teams in
conservation efforts. Understand and apply international environmental laws,
policies, and quality management systems. Utilize cutting-edge tools such as
GIS and remote sensing for environmental planning

University of Sopron will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12-year education, or English is designated as the primary and official language and the principle language of instruction.
