The Department of Computer Engineering of Medipol University is designed to provide its students broad perspective in the field of computer engineering, which is and will be one of the main driving forces of globalization and technological advancement. At Medipol University, our mathematics, science and engineering based curriculum is supported by compulsory non technical and elective courses, enabling students to improve their Professional capabilities, social, career and ethical responsibilities and also to understand the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship. We provide the opportunity to study up to two semesters in Europe through the Erasmus programme, as well as pursuing a double major or major/minor program.

Undergraduate student can work after they complete their first year at the university up 24 hours a week. Turkish laws allow students who graduate to apply for one year long residence/work permit.

İstanbul Medipol University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, evidence of English study within a 12 year education system where English is designated as the primary and official language and the principal language of instruction. For applicants who do not yet meet the English language requirement, there are two pathways to achieve the necessary level:
Pre-sessional English Programme; Students may successfully complete a preparatory English programme offered by the university before beginning their academic course. Recognized English Proficiency Tests; Students may submit one of the following minimum scores prior to the start of their program: IELTS: 6.5 overall band score (or equivalent), TOEFL or PTE: Score of 60, Duolingo English Test: Score of 120.
