Psychology is the scientific study of behaviour and the human mind. At Middlesex University Dubai, we offer a solid grounding in modern psychology a body of theoretical and practical knowledge concerning human behaviour and experiences. The main focus of various modules is to enhance critical thinking and evaluation of taught concepts and theories, the development of numerical and analytic skills which culminate into developing capacity to carry out independent research project i.e. dissertation in third year. For dissertation, the focus is on independent, self managed, self directed study within a framework of supervision. The Psychology with Education BSc is an interdisciplinary degree offering compulsory modules necessary for accreditation by the British Psychological Society, as well as an exciting range of optional modules. Compulsory modules in year one provide a foundation in the disciplines of psychology and education as well as research methods.

Middlesex University Dubai will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, evidence of English study within a 12 year education system where English is designated as the primary and official language and the principal language of instruction. For applicants who do not yet meet the English language requirement, there are two pathways to achieve the necessary level:
Pre sessional English Programme; Students may successfully complete a preparatory English programme offered by the university before beginning their academic course. Recognized English Proficiency Tests; Students may submit one of the following minimum scores prior to the start of their program: IELTS: 6.5 overall band score (or equivalent), TOEFL or PTE: Score of 60, Duolingo English Test: Score of 120.
