At the department of interior architecture and environmental design, students will be trained as professionals with analytical thinking skills who are able to find solutions for interior design problems by taking user needs at the center. In addition, the interdisciplinary approach enables students from different departments to interact with well known national and international professionals known for their pioneering innovations. Architectural integrity requires planning for every open/closed environment with respect to the values of volume; analyzing functionality taking into consideration the human factors, ergonomics, physiological, psychological and universal values, socio environmental criteria and organizing the theories related to scientific.

Undergraduate student can work after they complete their first year at the university up 24 hours a week. Turkish laws allow students who graduate to apply for one year long residence/work permit.

İstanbul Medipol University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, evidence of English study within a 12 year education system where English is designated as the primary and official language and the principal language of instruction. For applicants who do not yet meet the English language requirement, there are two pathways to achieve the necessary level:
Pre-sessional English Programme; Students may successfully complete a preparatory English programme offered by the university before beginning their academic course. Recognized English Proficiency Tests; Students may submit one of the following minimum scores prior to the start of their program: IELTS: 6.5 overall band score (or equivalent), TOEFL or PTE: Score of 60, Duolingo English Test: Score of 120.
