Our Computer Engineering program is nationally recognized for its high quality of education and research. Our energetic, innovative, and multidisciplinary faculty are committed to excellence in teaching and innovative research programs at the leading edge of computer science and engineering The program aims to establish successful computer or engineering careers in industry and government that will advance the economic development of the country, the region, and beyond. The Computer Engineering program focuses on the design, analysis, and applications of computer hardware and software as components of integrated computing systems. It overlaps with computer science on one end (software systems) and with electrical engineering on other (digital hardware). The program equips students with hands-on experience in system design and implementation by offering a set of practical labs in digital logic, microprocessor, electronic signal processing, computer interfacing, robotics. The BSc in Computer Engineering (BSc CE) is a dynamic and interdisciplinary degree that blends electrical engineering and computer science to prepare students for careers in designing, developing, and optimizing computer systems—both hardware and software. This program equips students with the analytical mindset and technical expertise needed to innovate across industries. From microprocessors and embedded systems to cloud computing and cybersecurity, graduates are trained to solve complex problems and build intelligent technologies that shape the modern world. The curriculum fosters creativity, precision, and adaptability qualities essential for thriving in today’s fast-paced digital landscape and tomorrow’s technological frontiers.
