The goal of this department is to train professional nurses who are able to use an integrative approach and critical thinking to detect individual, familial and societal needs, who can plan, assess and execute a nursing process that is evidence based, who is a life-long learner and advancer, who can create change and display advanced leadership skills, who abides by the law and occupational ethics while fulfilling nursing education research and advisory duties and who can influence health policies for the benefit of society. The program is housed in the Faculty of Health Sciences and prepares students for international nursing standards through theoretical study and practical clinical placements.

Undergraduate student can work after they complete their first year at the university up 24 hours a week. Turkish laws allow students who graduate to apply for one year long residence/work permit.

İstanbul Medipol University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, evidence of English study within a 12 year education system where English is designated as the primary and official language and the principal language of instruction. For applicants who do not yet meet the English language requirement, there are two pathways to achieve the necessary level:
Pre-sessional English Programme; Students may successfully complete a preparatory English programme offered by the university before beginning their academic course. Recognized English Proficiency Tests; Students may submit one of the following minimum scores prior to the start of their program: IELTS: 6.5 overall band score (or equivalent), TOEFL or PTE: Score of 60, Duolingo English Test: Score of 120.
