About This Programme

The Bachelor of Arts in Education with a concentration in Educational Technology (EdTech) examines the history, current practices, and future possibilities of integrating technology into classrooms. Students learn how to navigate and best engage their students in online and blended educational settings. By discussing the latest trends in EdTech research, learning theories, and practical hands-on experience, students analyze the ways in which technology can enhance the learning experience. This certificate enables pre-service and in-service teachers to design and develop an online/blended learning experience. Students enrolled in this program complete the following courses.

Eligibility Requirements
Post Study Work Visa

Graduate student can work up to 20 hours per week and full time during official school breaks and vacations. Post completion Optional Practical Training allows graduates to work for 12 months and STEM graduate are eligible for a 24 month extension.

English Language Requirement

Westcliff University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, evidence of English study within a 12 year education system where English is designated as the primary and official language and the principal language of instruction. For applicants who do not yet meet the English language requirement, there are two pathways to achieve the necessary level:

Pre sessional English Programme; Students may successfully complete a preparatory English programme offered by the university before beginning their academic course. Recognized English Proficiency Tests; Students may submit one of the following minimum scores prior to the start of their program: IELTS: 6.5 overall band score (or equivalent), TOEFL or PTE: Score of 60, Duolingo English Test: Score of 120.
