The
International Business Economics BSc prepares students to understand global
business processes and the operations of multinational companies. If you are
aspiring to an international business career, interested in corporate solutions
to global economic challenges, open to inter-cultural collaboration, or looking
to start your own successful business, then look no further. During the
programme, you will learn methods for analysing international market trends,
gain insight into the mechanisms of the global market, and acquire fundamental
knowledge of international trade, logistics, finance, management, economics, investment
and marketing. As the programme looks at distinct business cultures of
different countries and regions, successful graduates are also able to navigate
multicultural environments with confidence and work effectively in
international teams, finding employment in international companies,
multinational corporations, and organisations engaged in foreign trade. In recent years, interest in international business and
economic studies has been steadily increasing, leading to a dynamic rise in
enrolment on this programme. This is almost certainly because a degree in
International Business Economics provides competitive knowledge and
inter-cultural skills that can be applied in an international environment, and
it also offers you the opportunity to enhance your language skills, gaining a
high level of professional knowledge in foreign languages, an essential tool for
building international business relationships. The
International Business Economics programme combines specialised global economic
knowledge on areas including economic policy, global markets, trade in
mega-regions, and global tendering, with international business and cultural
competencies, such as international transactions, international freight
forwarding, business communication, and inter-cultural relations.
