Boost your career beyond EMT certification with an Associate Degree. Lane Community College’s Paramedicine Program prepares you to take the Paramedic National Registry Cognitive and Psychomotor exams. After passing the NREMT Exams, you'll be eligible for both a National and Oregon EMT License. After completing your degree at Lane, you'll also be awarded Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certifications. What you'll learn; Patient Interview Skills, Vehicle Extrication & Technical Rope Rescue Skills, Practical Hands-On Training, Emergency Medical & Trauma Assessments and Skills, Advanced Airway, Intravenous Access (IV) & Emergency Advanced Cardiac Arrest Skills, Advanced Cardiac, Pediatric, Neonatal Assessment, Practical, and Management Skills. A paramedic license from Lane Community College opens the doors to many different experience opportunities including: Community First Responders, Paid Emergency and Non Emergency Ambulance Transportation, Rapid Extraction Module Support Teams (REMS), EMS Contract Services, Fire-Based EMS opportunities, and more. The Paramedicine AAS degree program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP).

Lane Community College will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12-year education, or English is designated as the primary and official language and the principle language of instruction. If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit
