The Level 3 Diploma in Law is an Ofqual regulated UK foundation qualification designed to introduce essential legal principles, statutory interpretation, and legal reasoning needed for legal sector roles or higher university study. Awarded by OTHM, Ofqual regulated UK qualification. The program consists of 4 mandatory units (15 credits each) evaluated through written coursework assignments: The English Legal System: Covers sources of law, statutory interpretation, court hierarchies, judicial precedent, and the role of legal professionals. Explores key principles of formation, offer and acceptance, consideration, terms, vitiating factors, and remedies for breach.Develops professional legal vocabulary, drafting techniques, oral/written presentation of legal arguments. Focuses on case law analysis, legal database research, OSCOLA citation rules, and critical legal reasoning.
