The Level 3 Diploma in Accountancy (60 Credits) serves as an entry level foundation qualification designed to build core practical and theoretical bookkeeping and accounting knowledge. Ofqual regulated UK qualification (Qualifi / OTHM awarding body reference). The diploma consists of 3 core modules, evaluated through online written assignment assessments: Recording Financial Transactions: Covers source documents, processing prime entry records, and classifying income/expenditure accurately. Management Information: Explores cost and management accounting principles, basic budgeting, and the application of ICT in tracking financial data. Maintaining Financial Records: Focuses on double entry bookkeeping, preparing a three column cash book, and completing bank reconciliation statements. Upon completing the 60 credits at Level 3, students can progress directly into: Progression onto Level 4/5 Higher National Diplomas.
